Sporting Kansas City Internship
Sporting Kansas City is one of the founding Major League Soccer (MLS) Clubs. They are known not only for their rich history and tradition, but additionally for their community outreach.
I was fortunate enough to intern with the club for two summers, where I had the opportunity to make social, marketing, video board, and community awareness graphics.
Matchday Hero Graphics
When building out the matchday preview graphics, my thought process was to capture the intensity and precision Sporting plays with. I chose to do this through lighting and color correction, as well as with strong compositions that contrast the backgrounds. My graphics helped fans get excited for game days, especially since I highlighted the “heroes” of the team.
Leagues Cup
Leagues Cup is where every club from both the MLS and Liga MX (Mexico) come together to play in a single mid-season World Cup style tournament.
Infographic Carousel
I created an infographic that showcased what Leagues Cup is to the fans. I needed to convey the information in an eye-catching way that was also easy to read. I did this by using a dark blue gradient with white text on top to contrast.
